Food Sensitivity

Food sensitivity is an inadequate immune system response to certain food antigens. The correct diagnosis of a food sensitivity is very complex. The determination of intestinal permeability is very important in the study of this pathology. Several studies show that increased intestinal permeability leads to a rise in the number of food sensitivities

This inadequate response can lead to different symptoms:

  • Abdominal pains.
  • Swelling.
  • Constipation and/or diarrhoea.
  • Reflux.
  • Abdominal cramps.
  • Flatulence and nausea (with or without vomiting)
  • Fatigue or tiredness.
  • Headaches and/or migraines.
  • Widespread pain: muscular, or joint.
  • Central symptoms: numbness, memory loss or sleep disturbances.
  • Difficulty losing weight.
  • Growth retardation in children.
  • Dermatitis.
